Handmade in South Carolina

From marketing and media to interior design, it was a class in jewelry making that turned my passion to Chainmail over 15 years ago. This was my answer to knitting, as I was never able to get my tensions correct, mostly due to my Type A personality I was told!

Chainmail gives me the opportunity to blend my love of color by adding various stones to a
weave, and my love of precision with the actual weave. Rings are woven into various patterns that date from the Celtics in 300BC. Using precious metals, semi-precious stones and crystals, the patterns take on a life of their own. These unique patterns are unusual in today’s world.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching several chainmaillers some of the more intricate patterns. With continuing education, my knowledge has expanded into other areas of jewelry design.

That love of color has been the core of my life taking me from learning to sew at 8 years old, to fiber arts, interior design, embroidery, painting, and even card making.

I look forward to exploring new techniques and evolving new designs for my clients.

I like jewelry, in particular, pieces that are distinctive and attractive. I saw a necklace that I liked and wear frequently. I have since purchased additional items including necklaces, bracelets, and earrings and love them all. Happy with the design and workmanship. No hesitation in recommending this company.

Wow I can’t say enough about how my necklace for my wedding exceeded my expectations! The Pearl colors were perfect with the Rose gold. The piece framed my neck perfectly while making an elegant yet creative work of art. Helen’s the queen of color, she will always be my go to babe for her talents.
